Summer School of Applied Informatics

Summer School of Applied Informatics, organized by the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Business and Economics, Mendel University in Brno. The event will take place on Thursday, September 11, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, in Building M, Mendel University campus, Zemědělská 1665/1, 613 00 Brno.
This year’s edition will focus on two main topics:
- Artificial Intelligence methods and tools – with applications in the agri-sector, sustainability, and socio-economic sciences
- Cybersecurity in the era of pervasive use of AI technologiesThe summer school is designed for doctoral students from our department and their supervisors, as well as invited experts from academia and industry. Doctoral candidates will have the opportunity to present their research intentions and results and receive informal, friendly feedback in a collegial environment.

If you are interested in accommodation before or after the event, please mention it in your registration — we can help arrange a stay in university housing operated by Mendel University, located near the venue.
